Privacy Policy
Davis Boxing Club ("DBC," "we," "us") is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit boxing gym in Omaha, Nebraska. This policy explains what information we collect through our website, how we use it, and the choices you have. We keep it short and in plain English on purpose.

What we collect
We only collect information you choose to give us:
- Name and email address (and anything you write in the message box) when you join our email list or waitlist, or contact us through a form on this site.
- Members portal accounts. For enrolled members and families we store your name, email, which program groups you belong to, and (for youth members) the linked parent/guardian. If you turn on phone notifications, we store a notification token for that device. You can turn notifications off anytime. When you sign a waiver in the portal, we keep the signed name, date, and the browser it was signed from.
- Portal sign-in requests. If someone asks for a sign-in code with an email that isn't on our member list, we keep that email (and any name or note they add) so a coach can approve or dismiss it. Dismissed requests are deleted.
- Competition team roster. For boxers on the competition team, coaches keep the details USA Boxing requires: name, USA Boxing ID, birth year, weight, bout record, and whether a physical is on file. Only coaches and admins can see it, and we delete a boxer's entry when they leave the team.
- Birthdays. We may keep the date of birth of members and competition boxers, for USA Boxing age groups and to know when a youth member turns 18. Only club admins can see birthdays: coaches see just the birth year, and parents and members don't see them in the portal.
- Donation information if you give online. Payments are processed by PayPal; we never see or store your full card number.
- Basic website analytics. We may use standard analytics tools that collect anonymous information such as pages visited and general (city-level) location. This data does not identify you personally.
We do not collect information automatically for advertising, and we do not use tracking for targeted ads.
